Lomelda is the artist project of Texan Hannah Read, whose unique take on art encompasses not just brilliant music but broader themes of transformation, connection and collaboration. The fruits of this creative endeavour have been channelled into her new album Thx, and to celebrate Lomelda has just released the lead single: ‘Interstate Vision’. Singing "Headlights scare me into visions", Read’s lyrics are disconnected vignettes of times gone by, loosely woven around themes of travel and distance:  “Wrap your arms around me, I’ll be still… I saw an angel fly by guiding me home”. Against her vocal are jangly lo-fi guitars and live-feeling drums, all coming together to form one of the rawest DIY rock sounds we’ve heard this year.
